Summary: Rei goes and finds Miroku home and ill. She tries to find out the reason due to his illness.

Rei can already hear the commotion behind her. She quickly holds her pen in the air and chants out loud, "Mars! Crystal Power! Make-up!" The symbol of 'mars' begins to rotate rapidly withing the red ornament on top of her pen. Fire spits out of her pen enveloping around her. The flames gently wraps around her alternating her clothes to a red sailor-like uniform with a violet bow on her chest and a red bow just above her short skirt. Red high heels shoes followed with a tiara and a red gem in the center, Sailor Mars now stood.

Once her clothes alternated, Rei quickly turns around holding both arms in front of her, palm facing where Miroku would come out ready to perform a 'Burning Mandala' attack which releases flaming Buddhist symbolism.

Miroku's attention turned back to Kakashi as soon as the shinobi had released his fire technique. Growling, the monster broke into full speed and jumped over the coming fireball, landing behind Kakashi. He leapt towards Kakashi again, aiming to claw at his face and unaware of Rei's transformation behind him.

As soon as Miroku's claws hit, there was a poof of smoke, and a log fell to the ground. Kawarimi no jutsu (substitution jutsu) was pretty useful, even though it was such a basic technique.

He didn't want to think that he'd have to resort to anything that would seriously hurt the monk, but he whipped out some kunai and trap wire to prepare for the worst. In one more attempt to confirm whether or not the monk had completely lost his senses, he called out, "Miroku!!!"

"Burning Mandala!" After a shout, a couple fire Buddhist symbolism follows in flames towards Miroku's feet, catching him off guard.

After an attack, Rei rests both arms on her hips after getting Miroku's attention. "Everyone has a path to follow, and a mission to fulfill. To disturb a hoshi's path, I will not forgive you!" Rei turns her left side towards Miroku lifting her bent elbow pointing her two fingers towards him, and her thumb extended out. "The Soldier of Passion and Fire! Sailor Mars!"

Rei quickly draws out an ofuda in front of her concentrating as she chants, "Rin, pyou, tou, sha, kai, jin, retsu, zai, zen!" Feeling her planet aiding her, Rei builds enough spiritual energy ready to launch at Miroku's forehead hopping to stun him, or banish the dark energy within him. "Akuryō Taisan!" With that said, she launches the ofuda.

The monster that was Miroku didn't respond to Kakashi's call or hesitated in order to attempt to recognize him. He was about to leap at him again when Rei's rings of fire hit him in the legs and he screamed out in pain before whipping around to attack her instead. Aware of her again, his claws tore at the fuda before they could take any effect on him. Then he leapt towards her, ready to tear her with both sets of talons.
