Warnings: Miroku had punch and isn't feeling well. Youma? Rei's over protection.
Summary: Rei goes and finds Miroku home and ill. She tries to find out the reason due to his illness.

Miroku wanted to yell to Rei and Kakashi to run as far as possible but the transformation was happening too quickly. His limbs began to swell and they stretched out in length so that he was soon several feet taller than he normally was. His fingers and toes turned into long, sharp claws, and scratched out at the air in front of him.

Crying out one last time, his head was swallowed up as well, turning into a hideous visage of an angry monster - fangs, drool and all. No longer conscious of himself or Rei and Kakashi, Miroku leapt at them, attempting to claw at them with his talons.

This was no time for a lady's pride, and he changed his stance, readied to her side rather than in front of her. "A youma?" Kakashi watched, shocked at the sudden and complete transformation, before picking up Rei and dashing to safety when Miroku suddenly lashed out at them. Placing her down again, he added, "If you're going to do something, act quickly."

He then lifted his forehead protector, revealing the sharingan. He didn't want to hurt the monk, but he might not have a choice.

He brought forth a scroll, bit his thumb until a blood drop appreared, and called forth his ninken with the Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Jutsu). The dogs appeared and at once tried to restrain Miroku.

Rei watches as well Miroku's tranformation. She bit down on her teeth almost in pain watching her only friend in pain. Worst, Sailor Moon wasn't here. Questions roam through her mind. Before she can do anything, she found herself picked up and carried. This made Rei jumped trying to hold her scream.

After being set down, Rei shot a glare at the guy. Seeing him summon the dogs, this is her chance to escape, for a bit. "Fine," she said. "I'll find help!" With that said, Rei dashes to the next room and hopefully outside. Checking to see no one around, Rei pulls out her transforming pen.

The monster that now stood in Miroku's place hissed and howled at Kakashi and Rei. About to attack them again, he was suddenly surrounded by a pack of dogs that tried to restrain him. As the dogs jumped at him, Miroku merely swung out a long arm to smack them away. His attention soon turned to the fleeing Rei, ignoring Kakashi for a bit, and he began to take a few heavy steps after her.

As long as the girl was safe, that would be fine. Besides, Kakashi was a ninja--he knew how to improvise and deal with the unusual on a normal basis. "Miroku!" he called, performing a number of hand seals before bringing one of his hands to his lips and unleashing a Gokakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique) upon the monster. He hoped that there was something he could do, some way to save the perverted monk without killing him.
