My Daughter Gets Too Smart For Me
Conversation with my 8 year old daughter just now:
Me: I'm going to take a trip in the time machine this afternoon, but will return home by 6 PM tonight. Do you want to come with me?

My older car is still in the shop. It's been taken apart - all the way down to the frame. The auto body shop estimates $8200+ to fix it. Far below the book value of $13,150. I came across an article recently about the effects of affection on learning. It said that mice and rats which were held, cuddled, and petted by their owners learned to navigate mazes faster than those which were neglected.
