My older car is still in the shop.  It's been taken apart - all the way down to the frame.  The auto body shop estimates $8200+ to fix it.  Far below the book value of $13,150.  (An excellent book value for a car that old - but then again, hybrids have high resale values and high book values even after several years ( Read more... )
