Hey, this is before our time, but I know you're into Louisville history, so I wanted to let you know that State of Affairs tomorrow is about the old radio stations WAKY and WKLO. They were the first ones to play Top 40 in Louisville. And I spent today putting together old audio from the stations, which is really cool to listen to! I dunno if you can listen online while you're at work, but if you can't I'll send you a link to the archive, if you want.

Thanks, I checked it out. I remember WAKY as the oldies station when I was a kid, and I think I remember Bill Bailey too. The webpage said WAKY was around until '86, the year I turned 9. My favorite records at that time included "Sesame Street Sing-a-Long", featuring Cookie Monster with "C is for Cookie", and "101 Funny Knock-Knock Jokes", which I got at the school book sale. I really cracked my classmates up with those jokes.
