No idea. There is fic for it at Yuletide, sometimes. So I'm not sure what counts as popular/unpopular, but I can venture guesses?
...and I'll even put my opinions in whitetext for SPOILER AVOIDANCE.
- I don't have a problem with Roland's epilogue, actually. It works for him, and it still offers the hope of redemption, of maybe getting it right this time, of breaking the cycle. It's a good not-quite-close to his story. - I don't have a problem with Eddie's death, either! It's heartbreaking and awful, but that kind of thing happens in the midst of battle and Eddie's death punches that message home effectively. - ...I do have a problem with Susannah essentially getting put on a bus for no good goddamn reason, and of getting stuck with a character we have no emotional investment in instead. Bad form, King

i quickly skipped over some of these opinions since some of them did seem spoilery orz don't ask me how i avoided that considering that i'm not over with 6th book--but ita about Roland/Susan feeling boring :V idek while stephen king did do a great job with susannah/eddie, he had a bit of the George Lucas syndrome with roland/susan, as in he focused way too much on the idea of making it a "perfect romance" that it comes off as a bit...idek cliché and boring, kind of what Lucas did with Padmé and Anakin in star wars lol DON'T ASK ME HOW I GOT THAT DUMB ANALOGY SOBBB. also, the second book is fucking amazing and is really the start of the series. first book felt really slow imo, and the second one is where everything picks up ;A;
yeah i supported ghana due of them being africa's last hope. both teams played super well and this match shows that you don't need a lot of international stars or to be a traditional big soccer country in order to put up a good fight ;3;
And...derp I never got around to that meme on my own. I am still going to ask you for Baccano!1
As far as the German squad is concerned, I am ridiculously Hetalia-fangirl glee over the fact that Klose and Podolski are from Silesia. I imagine that Prussia gets REALLY OBNOXIOUS whenever they score. |D
Baccano! - Dub >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> sub. The sub isn't bad by any means, but the dub is just goddamn beautiful and captures the era and feel of the story perfectly. Is this opinion actually unpopular? I dunno. - I love all the canon pairings in the show. No really. No really. I suspect that's why I never wrote all that much fic for it; I like the relationships the canon gives us, and I like the way the canon develops them, and I don't have much to add except :D. - ...I totally ship Luck/Eve, though. It works in my head and it's really cute and I think they should get married because they'd be amazing and it'd be a sound match for alliance purposes and all that. - Actually, I adore Eve in general. No, she isn't as combat-oriented as a lot of the other ladies on the show, but she's such an amazingly strong character regardless. Her faith gives her so much unshakable conviction, and she won't let herself be intimidated or deterred, and she faces down people who kill other people for a living without her courage flagging, and holy shit

I don't know if I have unpopular opinions on EBZ. Except "I wish they'd come up with more high-level content soon," but I doubt that's unpopular.
Much as I like the humor of the setting and the moments of tongue-in-cheek, I'm more attracted to the creepywrong and probably always will be. I think that's as close as I get to an unpopular opinion.
-- oh, and I wish money did you more good; the system's okay at lower levels, but by the time you can afford the best stuff, you don't really need it. And there's not enough to spend your Echoes on, by the time you hit the higher levels.
Mostly I love the writers for giving you the option of making out with a severed head. Oh, Salome nods.
fair_light and I both really wish there were more ways to improve Shadowy that didn't involve stealing or trying to kill people, neither of which we are likely to do since we are now fixtures at the Shuttered Palace--I sell jewellery, feed the Duchess' cats, and intrigue, he spends hours closeted with the Wry Functionary and is practically the court doctor given the amount of potions he makes. We're both soul shepherds, which ought to increase our Shadowy, but neither of us has to steal to eat or is dumb enough to risk our social status stealing beeswax or really, anything that isn't souls.
