“Thank you so much for coming!” Rachel squealed as she launched herself into Kurt’s arms, forcing him to step back into Puck. “Did Finn come with you?”

“Finn wasn’t feeling well so I made him stay home,” Kurt lied. He wasn’t about to tell Rachel the truth, that Finn was still on the army base where he was supposed to be because he can’t get time off just because Rachel wants him to. But Rachel had never been able to understand why people couldn’t or wouldn’t drop everything to do what she wanted. It was easier for everyone to just say Finn was sick than tell her she was being self-centered and cause even more drama.

“Well, he could have at least made an effort,” she huffed then, after a quick hug to Puck, walked away to great more of her fans.

“Remind me why we came again?” he asked Puck.

“Well,” Puck grinned, “I came because you bribed me with sex.”
