Kurt sighed in dismay as he looked down at his nails. He'd bitten both his thumbnails almost halfway off. It's been three days since Noah had walked out on him, and he still had no idea what to do next.

It wasn't like it was a new thing, for a client to fall in love with a Companion. It happened so often that whole books where dedicated to the theme. From Companion guidebooks to romance novels. He wasn't the first and he certainly wouldn't be the last Companion this happened to.

If he were brutally honest, he could name a couple of regular clients that he'd kept on raising his wages to, hoping to shake them off, but were willing to pay anything to be with him.

Yet, Noah was the first one who'd refused to be with him, because he'd been paying for it

NO!!! I need more! I think it's sweet that Noah doesn't want another date with Kurt as a Companion. He wants Kurt for Kurt... just the lovely boy a chance Kurt!!!
