Puck was halfway home from the grocery store when his phone rang. He pulled over to the side of the road before he answered, expecting it to be Kurt and his husband would be pissed if he thought he was driving and talking on his phone at the same time.

“Hello?”

“Hey,” it was Kurt. “People are starting to get here for the party. Well, Finn’s here and he brought his new girlfriend. She’s nothing like Rachel. I really like her.”

“I’ll be home soon,” he promised.

“Did you remember the zucchinis for the dip I’m going to make?”

“Of course I did,” Puck lied, closing his eyes and muttering a silent curse. He would have to go back to that Hell of a grocery store. “See you soon.”

“Love you.”

“Love you too.”
