30 Magic Moments- Worst Saturday Ever Part 1: The Rain (1/2)greenglowsgoldJune 10 2012, 19:29:14 UTC
*Somehow it worked out so all the boys got together… except Artie. Sorry, Artie. Your time will come. Eventually.
They were going to have their detention on a Saturday. A Saturday. Like plain old detention during the week wasn’t bad enough. At least it was in the evening, so they could still go to the Quidditch match and enjoy what was left of the not-terrible weather (it was muggy and it looked like it would rain later, but at least they hadn’t gotten snow yet), and save the bad part of the day for after dinner.
Still, Puck woke up feeling good, because as awful as detention would be, Quidditch came first, and as many times as he’d read over the book his dad left behind on the subject and as much as he technically knew about it all, he’d never seen a game. And Kurt had never seen a game either and he only knew about as much as Finn and Puck had explained to him

It's a good time placement, I've found, because they can be involved in the major plot and yet still keep some distance from the main characters (and thus could plausibly have been there).
