Not with a fizzle, but with a bang. That's how Kurt expected his first serious proclamation of love. The thing with Blaine had been sweet, he supposed, and the shock of hearing it from a guy for the first time really did leave Kurt feeling elated, but it wasn't what he'd imagined.
The trouble with being a hopeless romantic meant that all of Kurt's ideas of love and moments between couples were built on movies that he'd come to find out were rather unrealistic. It crushed his spirits a bit, but somehow the cavalier nature with which Puck would show people the two of them were together in public seemed to counteract that.
