Welp. Let's do an end-of-year book post. This year I dedicated most of my time to re-reading, since for the first time in about 7 years, my books and I were all in the same city. Sometimes, it feels like a struggle.  I'll start to feel frustrated, or irritated with someone, and this well of rage seems to open up inside me.  I work really hard to avoid acting on it - or at least, to vent it in ways that aren't going to be harmful - but the depth and the frequency of late worries me ( Read more... )

Settling in continues.  Waiting for Griffin to build kitchen furniture, which will allow for re-shuffling.  Otherwise, things are largely where they are going to go.  Will probably end up buying another shelf (or two?) to allow for book expansion, but we're mostly good here.  Cats are doing well, and have largely figured out life again ( Read more... )
