Holidays N'Stuff
Settling in continues. Waiting for Griffin to build kitchen furniture, which will allow for re-shuffling. Otherwise, things are largely where they are going to go. Will probably end up buying another shelf (or two?) to allow for book expansion, but we're mostly good here. Cats are doing well, and have largely figured out life again.
And it's almost Christmas, so I'm wanting to figure out gifts for people, and get things done. I am stumped on my younger brother. Having gotten him fun t-shirts two years running, I'm not sure I want to repeat, but also have no better ideas as of yet. Making a thing for someone else, totally not going to have enough time to make some of the other things I was planning on. Some of that may be late Christmas gifts. Or birthday gifts.
Current sewing project involves applique of a lot of tiny little points. Used Griffin's machine for that part... and it looks pretty good. I love my machine a lot, but Griffin's electronic machine allows for much better tapering. On a related note, my design style clearly involves lots of nit-picky little points. I may need to practice other styles if I keep designing applique things.
Also, I have decided that what my already overly-long and eclectic Christmas music playlist needs is holiday dubstep. But I have not yet found any that I like. Open to suggestions.
