What she said. Christ that was awful. Well at least the first half hour was - I wasn't about to assault my senses with the rest of it. I think the last time we got something that dire from the DVD club it was My Super Ex Girlfriend for which all invlolved should be publicly flogged. This was full on Matrix bad, with a side order of Pulp Fiction

Battlestar Galactica - my favourite tv program ever, bar The Mighty Boosh... very dark and gripping, and great character development for sci fi. I don't know which one you started with (though I'm hoping to god it's the remake!), but it's definitely best to start with season 1 or even the massive 2h prologue, though I think the regular series are better paced and more easy to get into. Good luck with it - set me back a few ££££s buying them all on dvd though! 0_0

We started with a loooong pilot thing. I've been promised series one when I take that back.

And I'm old enough to remember the old version so there were some silly grin nostalgia moments too.

Galactica is OK... Occasionally lapses into Top Gun territory, but it's far better than that bloody awful series from the 1970s! The Cyclons can be quite chilling in the new series.

As there is only one male type I've seen so far, I just thank the Deities for Apollo ! I want to see more of Jamie Bamber with his shirt off !
