The slow responses, the overwhelmingly intrusive ads and the spam replies in Russian are just all too much. I will be migrating away from LJ in the near future to a personal blog hosted on my own web provider. I'll set up a syndicate over here probably but I've had enough of this. -

Oh, and thanks to a_pawson , I am now advert free. I can't do polls and don't have as many piccies, but hey ho, it's worth it to get rid of those damn ads. I could live with the banners, but those new ones that take over your whole screen are just ridiculous. -

Glass painting
At last night's class the tutor had music on. He asked if anyone objected, nobody did. In fact, since I almost always paint to music I was all in favour of it. I'd never heard the music that he played but it was absolutely amazing. Stirring, atmospheric and fabulous to work to.

It's a prog thing
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Transatlantic live set - recorded on the last tour (which I was fortunate enough to witness...) I couldn't resist the full-on five disc box set. Rumours are it's arriving on doormats in the US, so I reckon I've a week or two yet to trade on memories....
