Callisto sat on her bed reading the book Vala gave her for Solstice. It was interesting but not so gripping she couldn't be distracted from it.

The door was unlocked and propped open a little.

Bridge wanders up to Callisto's room, a package carried under his arm.

"Hey, Cal?" he asks, knocking on the door before peeking in.

"What the ancients called a clever fighter is one who not only wins, but excels in winning with ease," Callisto looked up and grinned. "Hey, Bridge. Come on in."

"I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about this," Bridge smiles, waving the package around. He then eyes the room critically, "although with the amount of security you've got in here already, I can see why it might have..."

"The lock," Callisto facepalmed. "I did mean to pick it up, it's just well, life kinda got in the way. And you can never have too much security."

Vala, having gotten some sympathy, some excellent advice, and a couple of drinks in her at Caritas, had made it back to the dorms, still unsure where she was going to sleep for the night, but determined she'd rather camp out in a common room than crawl back to Cam's bed tonight.

Stumbling out of the staircase, she realized she was on the wrong floor. (She'd thought those stairs seemed awfully long tonight!) Turning to head back down, she caught sight of Callisto's door, still propped open a bit.

Callisto had a single, right? Callisto had given her that great book on gold. Callisto would sympathize over stupid guy problems, right?

Slightly tipsy still, Vala knocked on the door.

Wondering who could be knocking at this hour, Callisto opened the door. "Vala?"

"Uh, yeah, kinda," Callisto glanced across to the two beds shoved together to form one. "Or at least I will have. Is something wrong?"
