After a busy weekend, Vala shows up at her door just in time to dump her stuff in her room, take a quick shower, replace the bandage on her arm, check her messages, and make it to Advanced Criminal Justice class.

Room #226, Evening
Vala had no classes on Wednesdays, something she had taken full advantage of by staying in her room rather than having to speak to anyone. She went into town for lunch, and came back to find all of Cam's stuff gone. She really should have been the one to leave, after all, it was his room. Vala didn't actually have to leave on her new job until Friday, but she really wished she could be gone now.
She knew it was coming, one of these days. She'd just been in denial.
And she'd been so happy there.
Now she's back in the room. But sleep's not coming. -

Vala was bored. She had her nice pain meds that kept her from hurting too much, but Cam had only agreed to go to classes on condition she promise not to get up. Vala woke up in the darkness of the clinic, disoriented and confused.

Vala appeared, dragging escorting a tired-looking Cam into the room and closing the door behind them.
Then she just wrapped him in a hug.
After a few moments of that, she stepped back and frowned at him.

Vala sat on her bed, door closed and concentrating heavily on the books she'd gotten from the library and trying to write her essay for tomorrow. There's a lot of frowning, muttering, and flipping of pages.
