Room #226, After 6th period

Vala appeared, dragging escorting a tired-looking Cam into the room and closing the door behind them.

Then she just wrapped him in a hug.

After a few moments of that, she stepped back and frowned at him.

"O.K., tell me."

"There's not much to tell," Cameron sighed and reached for her again. "It's weird."

Vala put one arm around him and settled them on the bed before either of them fell over from lack of sleep.

"O.K., I can handle weird. Tell me weird."

Cameron sighed and twisted until he ended up lying down with his head in her lap. "Weird as in I'm expecting to wake up any moment and hear this all a joke. Weird as in he shouldn't be shrugging this off and telling me to go to classes instead of be there for them."

Vala ran her fingers through his hair. "I know he's worried about your classes. And you're worried about him. It's what families do."
