The visit to Brite-Lite showed me some really expensive timers that were based on analog technology, and cost a bundle.  To save money and to put some of my education into practice, I made a circuit based on an Arduino.

Since I my seeds sprouted yesterday, I needed to fix the watering problem.  Today, I decided to go to Brite-Lite Indoor Garden Centre.

I'm about 6 days in and I was getting worried (due to my internal mother hen that I wish I could slaughter) that nothing was happening.  Some quick Googling turned up some videos instructing viewers to place the seeds in a damp paper towel sandwich in a sealed container.  The container is put in darkness, and the temperature maintained at 20-25 ( Read more... )
