I have never seen Pokemon. I know quite a bit of trivia despite that, at least half of it garnered from one very, very odd Gundam Wing fanfic that I read when I was young and foolish, but I still have no familiarity with any actual Pocket Monster besides Pikachu.
As such, my friend neverendingjim consented to go through the Poke-rap (yes, he can name all the Pokemon) and come up with a short list of critters I might like. I then looked up pictures and picked one. Specifically...
Magnemite. He was super-cute. I can't say anything else about him, but his adorability is a fact.
The other Pokemon that James offered me were:

... all of whom were also pretty cute.
