While I love the references every time I see it, didn't that hurdle become apparent when they were playtesting it? Or did one of the designers have a really bad time in quarantine while vacationing there?

I wish it were MORE of a rip off. I want some powered armor, ghouls, and at least one scene of a highway full of nuclear-engined cars going up like a fireworks factory on "bring a lit match to work" day.

There are a lot of actors I like in Flashforward. I think I recognize more than half the cast, which is weird, but makes me want to like the show

My wife and I enjoyed the first episode. She got a little disturbed by the early scenes of pandemonium but I got the chills towards the end with the ballpark video. Hooked! I enjoy watching anyone from the Fiennes family tree and Cho brings out my geek-side.

Well, the thing about Flashforward (the novel) that fits with the Braga time travel trope is that his usual method for showing someone die and then having it be resolved without the person dying fits the model as set up by the book.
Though he used it so often, I think it may have passed the realm of plausibility for a lot of us, unless they use the same jargon as in the novel.

*(Cuba and ... Argentina, I think, are almost as annoying in terms of refusing to become infected.)
Of course, instead of that failure, they failed in the opposite direction by just making the game kind of a crapshoot.

Love the book, I hope it gets picked up for more than just the 'pilot' too! Who do we send the postcards to?
