I never had much interest in horror comics or Lovecraft but the North 40 series is completely worth my time! I like the art and the story unfolding keeps me eagerly anticipating the next issue and really hope you'll have the chance to do more after this first run.

Nothing's been finalized, but it's getting so much attention, I think (fingers crossed) they will.

Now I just need to not get a bad case of sequel-itis and ruin it. :)

How can you say the ending for Fringe episode 1 season 2 anti-climax??
Did you not see at the very end what happened to Agent Francis? It blew me away and made me sad. I don't think you would have said what you said if you have seen the very end.

True, but that could just be me: "finding out stuff" is always my favorite thing with shows like this. I love finding out what's "really" going on. Though I am happy we get more of the creepy typewriter.

There is a Black Lotus Soda. They only made 10 bottles and they're $500 each.

A whole line of "beta" sodas, in limited quantities, would have been hilarious.

Book of Eli... anonymous September 27 2009, 05:27:22 UTC
If the book he's carrying is simply a bible, then the movie is going to have one of the worst anticlimactic moments in Sci Fi history.

Not to mention I still see buildings and such in the aftermath in the trailer. Considering the sheer number of bibles in print and pretty much everywhere (hotels, churches, etc), it would be like fighting over a burnt out car after the bombs have dropped. There's going to be a good few left.

I'm also wondering if they'll reveal what's in it at all; I'm thinking of the briefcase in "Pulp Fiction."

Which might be as big a let-down, unless the book is just a "thing to have and drive the story."

I agree about Supernatural being Hellblazer-esque... but I think that it took an important detour through American Gods on the way there.
