My primary focus when critiquing, or even just listening to, any contemporary worship songs is the lyrics, because as a man thinks, so he is; what we feed ourselves is what we become, of both food and word. writing (I hope this isn't too meta)
Obviously, this journal is not much of a JOURnal. But then, even when it was, I'm not sure how convinced I was that I had much quotidien to share here.
I am not announcing any great change. What I am doing is trying to force myself to start writing, so that I can get back into some proper shape for larger projects, ie books. So I am planning here ( Read more... ) -

Seems life was a good bit more interesting when I lived with and nearer people. Have I mentioned the 'burbs kind of suck?
Of course, living in interesting times counts as an ancient curse, but that refers more to the actual interesting we are living in than it does my doing nothing outside of work.

Snow, it had to be snow
I'm not in the Temple of Karnak, but for the way people act these days, I might as well be.
Word is, maybe a foot of snow toward the west of Philly (last I heard). But the folks doing the reporting and prognosticating are claiming (warning?) that this will be one of the worse EVERRRRRR.

Dear diary,
I was never inspired to keep a diary. This journal was started because of a deep friendship. So I let it (my LJ; the friendship I killed with solipcism) lapse, apparently at the worst times; I could have written two books, maybe even sold a TV deal, from those periods.
