I buy halloween decorations and leave them up all year. Is that strange? This year it was a fake stuffed black barn owl and 2 bookshelf gargoyles that look like they're stone.

September is here and instead of being incredibly hot it's just hot. So, I went hiking on the Florida (side) Trail at Hillsborough River State Park this morning. It's a 3.2 mile trail - half the trail was nice, running along the river, nobody in sight. But the other half was under 6 inches of muddy water. I went to vote early this morning at the local library..... wow. Two and a half hours in line. A woman actually passed out and was taken away by paramedics right as she got up to the voting machine.
