[4 AM? In the rain? It doesn't matter. Hibiki was restless, so she, her Poochyena, Poochiko, and her Golbat, Grosuke, are out for an early morning jog. It's all to keep in-shape! Running in the rain might not be the best idea, but since it's not raining yet, she has a light jacket on. She's totally prepared if it does start.

[ Lando's not far behind Layton, and as he runs by he gives her a short wave. Oh but she--Lando stops long enough to yell a response to her question: ]

guess what the worst wake-up call ever is.

Luke jolts awake, and while he's not completely aware of what's going on, he's managed to figure out that 1) this is not Mr. Bear 2) he is tied up to this Ursaring that is not Mr. Bear and 3) this Ursaring that is not Mr. Bear is now taking him god knows where.

With these three facts, Luke figures this is an appropriate time to panic.]

[ Gosh, this is even a worse wake-up call than his own bear experience. He might have woken up to a Weepinbell staring at him, but that's nothing compared to being strapped to a wild bear. ]

Luke, we're coming!! [ He yells while running, but it's awfully hard to run as fast as he can with these muddy grounds from the last few days' rain showers. He turns his head to Lando in the middle of this; ]

Lando, what Pokemon do you have on you right now?

[ So he's still basically asleep, running through the woods at god knows what time. Chasing bears. Trying to save apprentices...

This would hilarious if poor Luke wasn't in danger. ]

I've got Henry--[ His Kabuto. He shakes his head, frowning. He didn't really want to attack the bear, not with Luke still attached. ] Do you have a plan?

[Poor Luke on the other hand, is still calling for the Professor as they make their way further down Route 34. Unfortunately for him, all of his Pokeballs were still in the tent - and even if they weren't, it wasn't as though he could exactly use them.

Instead, the boy tries to figure out how to loosen the ropes - unfortunately for Luke, the more he struggles with it, the more the rope cuts into the Ursaring as well, which only makes the bear angrier.

{All those nightmares mean that Nanao doesn't sleep easily these days, and so when a roar echoes through the early morning gloom, she leaps into action upon her horse-sized hellhound and goes to investigate - and is that a bear. With a person attached.}

{EVERYTHING IS WORSE WITH BEARS. And so, out of a habit born from long practise, her leader-mode engages.}

Luke doesn't get a chance to answer Nanao, but the faint cry of "HEEEEEELLLLLP" can still be heard as the pair speed past.]

[ Shortly after that pair speeds past her, another pair in their pyjamas. One of them should be a familiar face, even without the top hat since who else has dot eyes like him. Plus, he yells out while rushing past: ]

Miss Nanao, Luke has been strapped to a wild Ursaring! [ oh boy, doesn't that sound like fun... ]

Yeah, and we need to get him off as soon as possible. [ Lando doesn't know her, but she may be able to help. After all, the more the...merrier?

Or, well, the more likely they'll get Luke off the bear. ]

[ This video reply comes after quite some time since of a bear chase, rescuing Luke, lecturing the heck out of his two Pokemon, walking back to camp, and then getting changed into some clean clothes. Gosh, this is one terrible morning. ]

[ With his top hat now back on his head, he can properly reply to these video feeds. ] No need to scream anymore, my dear. Everything is under control.

[ wow, Byakuya, just being so calm and watching this like nothing's wrong. AND HERE LAYTON HAS THOUGHT THEY'VE HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL!! But anyway, this reply comes quite some time after since Layton's gear is all the way back at camp. The Professor is in cleaner clothes and wearing his top hat now. He still looks pretty tired though. ]
