guess what the worst wake-up call ever is.

Luke jolts awake, and while he's not completely aware of what's going on, he's managed to figure out that 1) this is not Mr. Bear 2) he is tied up to this Ursaring that is not Mr. Bear and 3) this Ursaring that is not Mr. Bear is now taking him god knows where.

With these three facts, Luke figures this is an appropriate time to panic.]

[ Gosh, this is even a worse wake-up call than his own bear experience. He might have woken up to a Weepinbell staring at him, but that's nothing compared to being strapped to a wild bear. ]

Luke, we're coming!! [ He yells while running, but it's awfully hard to run as fast as he can with these muddy grounds from the last few days' rain showers. He turns his head to Lando in the middle of this; ]

I've got Henry--[ His Kabuto. He shakes his head, frowning. He didn't really want to attack the bear, not with Luke still attached. ] Do you have a plan?

[Poor Luke on the other hand, is still calling for the Professor as they make their way further down Route 34. Unfortunately for him, all of his Pokeballs were still in the tent - and even if they weren't, it wasn't as though he could exactly use them.

Instead, the boy tries to figure out how to loosen the ropes - unfortunately for Luke, the more he struggles with it, the more the rope cuts into the Ursaring as well, which only makes the bear angrier.

[ Attacking the wild Pokemon while Luke is still strapped to it is completely out of the question. It's much too great of a risk to put Luke in that situation, but at this point, doing nothing but chasing after it will not get anything solved. That Ursaring is huge. It will easily outrun both Layton and Lando, so a plan needs to be thought up and thought up quickly. ]

[ A hooting above causes Layton to look up and-- ah, Walter! Having the Noctowl here is definitely an asset. Now, the only two Pokemon that can be used right now is a Kabuto and Noctowl. This will be much easier with the rest, but at this moment, they have to do with what they can. This plan might be tricky and hard to pull off, but it's worth a shot. ] Walter can put the Ursaring to sleep, but we need a way to corner it first.
