[4 AM? In the rain? It doesn't matter. Hibiki was restless, so she, her Poochyena, Poochiko, and her Golbat, Grosuke, are out for an early morning jog. It's all to keep in-shape! Running in the rain might not be the best idea, but since it's not raining yet, she has a light jacket on. She's totally prepared if it does start.

[ Lando's not far behind Layton, and as he runs by he gives her a short wave. Oh but she--Lando stops long enough to yell a response to her question: ]

[Hibiki moves out of the way as both of the gentlemen pass right by her, but upon hearing Lando's explanation...if there's a child in danger...she starts running behind them, and she soon overtakes them. Hibiki is faster than most track runners.]

[And once she's close enough? She's going to jump right onto the Ursaring's back, quickly using Luke to climb onto the Ursaring's shoulders. Sorry, Luke!]

[Ok well now there's a second person on top of Luke. But as long as Hibiki's there to save him, Luke won't complain about it.

Except for the fact that now the Ursaring is now rearing up, trying to throw off the extra person.

[Please don't turn him into lunch, there's not a lot of meat there! The Ursaring is still struggling to throw off its passengers, roaring loudly, but the scratching behind the ear is starting to slow it down a little.]

[ Ah, the Ursaring is starting to slow down. Whatever that young lady is doing on top of the bear, it seems to be working. Alright, Layton will just make sure to keep as close as he can in case Hibiki falls off. Whatever she's doing, hopefully, she can do it some more to slow the bear down so more so they can actually stop it. ]

[ Well, color Lando impressed. He didn't exactly know what she was doing, but clearly it was effective! So he'll follow Layton's lead for the time being, as he's not really all that worried about Hibiki. She seems to know what she's doing, after all! ]

[Hibiki can work wonders with animals, really, just like Layton's own apprentice! It isn't long before her petting and careful words have calmed down the Ursaring enough for her to just jump off (yes, jump), landing in front of Ursaring.]

Ursika didn't want to hurt anyone! I think she was just really scared by somethin'!

[That Ursaring is also now going to enjoy some more Hibiki pets, because this is what an idol does for a living.]
