I know, it's been a while since I updated. Things have been busy. Actually, things have been not that busy, but Chris was home a lot. He had the Mondays and Tuesdays after Christmas and after New Year's off. Two four day weekends in a row. Will wonders never cease? Awesome! That looks like so much fun!

We don't get much snow here, but my sister managed to do a little sledging up north just after Christmas. They were sledging down a country road of all things which apparently was just ice. She said it was like being on the luge!

Personally I'm pretty chicken with this too - you wont ever find me skiing, but I might be persuaded to sled down a "small" slope...

I can only imagine the speed on ice! We had very powdery snow up there. It was really nice.

Next time we go, I'm told that I have to go on the big slope. YIKES!

I love how they wanted their own particular colored sleds! The girls ARE brave .. us old fuddy-duddies aren't carefree enough to enjoy the fun things in life like this! ;)

Maya's favorite color is green. And Nadia seems to have taken a liking to yellow. We were happy when there were all sorts of colors to choose from and that the sleds were included in the admission price to the slopes!

And yes, they are brave. They, especially Nadia, shamed me into doing it and I'm so glad I did!

Wow, those slopes look AMAZING! I have to search for a small hill to sled on! You all look great and look like you were having a great time.

oh I love sledding and tubing down hills! its been forever and i'm a little speed junkie, but can't skii :( I can only turn to the left for some reason hehehe ;)

It looked like you guys had a blast! I'm so happy you got some vacation fun family time! :D
