Oh, yes! He's absolutely marvelous, and I'd certainly recommend him to anyone!

Is there usually a big celebration for Halloween here?

[primrosella]

Well, last year we had all the visitors from other worlds come to see us, so that was rather a celebration in itself! Things were quite busy that whole weekend, as I recall. And there were quite a few parties, I think, though there wasn't one big one, just a lot of smaller ones.

Do you really mean to dress up for Hallowe'en?

Well, I've been thinking about it, at least. It is rather fun to do, so long as you pick a costume that's mostly harmless.

Given the way of this place, it really does do one well to choose a harmless costume.

There's always the chance we might turn into it for the night, isn't there? I think you've mentioned that before, that a curse like that sometimes comes up on Halloween.

I don't see how it's any of your business either way.

Well, since you were so keen on sharing information a mere few days ago, I thought perhaps to ask.

And if you were so keen on gaining it, you might've already paid attention to the fact that I was cursed, and said as much. Which means you're really just aiming to be horrible, the same as always.

I don't really understand what Halloween celebrates, but if involves dressing up in costumes, I think I'll enjoy it. I have no idea what to wear, though. For the festival at home my friends usually dressed up along some sort of theme.

Well, as long as it's only friendly teasing, I suppose I can manage all right.

That's part of it, as far as I know. Costumes and parties and plenty of sweets--and that's certainly enough for me! But I always have trouble coming up with a costume, too, since I always have to try to pick one that I wouldn't mind being for an evening, if I were to turn into it.

Do you think it's likely you could turn into it?

It's happened before, yes. There's a curse that sometimes comes around that turns people into their costumes for the night. We didn't have it last year, fortunately, but it's not one that's easily forgotten, either.
