Do you really mean to dress up for Hallowe'en?

Well, I've been thinking about it, at least. It is rather fun to do, so long as you pick a costume that's mostly harmless.

Given the way of this place, it really does do one well to choose a harmless costume.

There's always the chance we might turn into it for the night, isn't there? I think you've mentioned that before, that a curse like that sometimes comes up on Halloween.

[OOC: Gotta duck out for a sec, BRB!]

Yes, exactly. And it seems to suit the 'deities' quite well, so I always half-expect it to come around again each Hallowe'en.

Well, it is better safe than sorry, certainly. But so long as we're careful, I don't see any reason to let worrying spoil the fun of the holiday, really.

I suppose. I rather used to enjoy the holiday. I find it rather difficult anymore.

I'm sorry to hear that. But last year was pleasant enough, wasn't it? I know you don't like it when all the visitors come, but it was one of the nicer curses we could've had for the occasion.

I'd almost forgotten that that's what went on last year--yes, I suppose that is better than what's happened in the past, though you are right that I still don't like it.

I only remember because we had a party at the Warehouse that night, and they all came to visit for it. And they stayed over into the next day, too, which made things even better.

Weren't there are few different masquerades going on that evening, if I recall correctly? I remember running from one to another, somehow.

There were, yes! I do remember thinking there were quite a lot of parties that night, since I wanted very much to go visit all of them, but we were hosting our own at the Warehouse. It was great fun, though.

And I've already heard word that there may be one being planned for this year, already.

We probably ought to have hosted one here at the opera house--I don't think we did. If we did, I still think I slipped out to see some of the other ones.

Is there, indeed? Who's hosting it?

That's always the trouble with hosting, isn't it? I remember people coming around to the door, though, as well. Isn't there something about that, children dressing up in costumes and going around to ask for sweets? I seem to recall making some and giving them out last year, but I might be thinking of something else.

I don't know if it's true or not, but Tamaki did speak with me a bit earlier about costumes and masquerades, and he wouldn't say a word when I asked him about them. Which makes me think he's up to something, of course.

Yes, there is that, the trick-or-treating custom. I remember taking Merry around for that--perhaps the first year we were both here, even if it did end rather badly for us all.

Of course that means he's up to something. I suppose that quite answers that. We need only wait for something to show up on the Network, then--probably something quite loud and gaudy.

Do you think you'll take her around again this year? I'll make sure to have something nice for her, if you do plan to.

It'll be fun, though, won't it? And it'll certainly get people's attention that way, which is really rather the point. Oh, but if it's to be a masquerade, then I really will need to think of a good costume, and one that comes with a mask, besides!
