Still sick. Thus, fic of the self-indulgent variety.
Sitting On A Log
InuKai, PG13, 1100 words.
Inui, Kaidoh, moon, and stars.
NB: I couldn't figure out if there was a particular Japanese idiom for earthshine so I just went with the one I knew.

On the other hand, I doubt there is so much beautiful adolescent boy love in the actual series, and I doubt it would make me *sigh* with happiness like this story does, so maybe I'd better leave well enough alone.
(Yes, I will read your stories even in fandoms I have zero clue about. Consider it a large compliment. *g*)

I do, I do!
If you do want to give PoT a try, I can fix you up. It iss, as you might expect, an anime about boys who play tennis. I'm still trying to work out why exactly it has such a hold on me, but a big part of it is the many interesting (and pretty) characters. Also, the Golden Boyhood really draws me.

(If there were, I wouldn't have to write it. *g*) But at the same time, it's full of lovely, lovely slashy interactions. The fandom has been reeling at the sheer amount of fanservice in the last couple of eps. And the two I'm writing about here, Inui and Kaidoh -- their relationship is essentially canon. Not like Willow and Tara but certainly more so than Ethan and Giles ( ... )

That was... awesome. I *love* how Kaidoh is being forward, but in his own quiet way, and how Inui realizes there's something more to their relationship than a quick fling. Your descriptions were just beautiful - so vivid. You totally pleased both the bookworm and the nerd in me. XD
