[Emi hadn't noticed her phone ringing, as she had been busy trying to keep her mind occupied by cleaning and making sure Loto wasn't...well, making sure Loto wasn't bawling every two minutes. However, upon seeing the missed call and voicemail left by none other than John's very own mother (how in the world had she gotten Emi's number-?), Emi figured it'd be best to call the woman back.]

"A-Allo?" [a pause as Emi tries to figure out how to word her message] "Ah, Ms. Key? Yes, this is Jo-, ah, Iorangi's -" [she ignores the way her accent stumbles over the name] "friend. Emiliana. And, heh, y-yes. He's currently in the hospital. A-A bit drugged up but I was told that he'd be fine."
