Boyf's best friend's wife pointed out helpfully (a week after we got the kitten) that Lawrence was, in fact, a girl and that the pound totally lied to us. We have renamed her Lily.

Haha, whoops.

Prior to this, I'd kept warning Lawrence that we'd have to rename him Florence if he didn't stop being such a crybaby. I feel a little silly now.

god, I miss the SNE. because exactly, it made you get a big ol' thing done. There's not a lot to show for after that for me either.

A section was missing? Did you get the mods to add it afterwards? I hope I've read it in its entirety!

No, I didn't want to bother the mods because I didn't have the section fully written and too many people had already seen the story, so. ;~~~;

It was a small sections, so it wasn't... like. It was just... there was this question left over about, I don't even remember, something minor. The section would have fixed that.

Silly girl, college and relationships and real life started happening to you and are probably the main reason for your fandom slowdown. Same thing happened to me too~ I pretty much fell off the face of the internet for a year and a half. XD

It was a kitten! she was too young to tell and also her butt is really fuzzy. I also don't make a habit of staring at my kitten's butt, so there is that. :P

Well, I know why my fandom life slowed down, I'm just not sure why, now that I have so much free time again, it's not helping me get back into the swing of things.

Although, you know, maybe the kitten, being female, didn't want a male name, so who am I to say? Perhaps the kitten itself should have been consulted in the naming process. JUST SAYIN'

See, she'd actually had a rough few days, what with so many people in and out making her nervous, and having a gender identity crisis in the middle, so we geave it a few days' thought and asked her how she felt about Lily.

She's not very good at responding to her name, anyway. :/

I considered leaving it! But then friends would ask weird questions. :/ I didn't want to have to give an Elliot/Lawrence/Boy Names Are Okay rant every time I had to explain that the kitten was a girl. (Also it was a good chance to give her the name Lily, which I think is a very pretty name. <3)

Sometimes I think it's because of all the writing I do in my journal, I sate the desire I would otherwise have to write fanfiction. I'm a little bit into reading at the moment though; it goes in cycles so I know I just have to wait.

Orray, I feel like this as well. If I am writing ONE THING, be it very fancy emails, journals, letters or fic, I can't write anything else really.

Beeeh. For the exchange, I always used to pick up something I'd started, and not finished, but in a way, that meant that it wasn't something I loved enough to finish myself, so in the end it came out a little forced.

Anyway, stop complaining, because it's not like you're not writing, you're just working on several huge projects at the same time. Maybe you should just pick one, and try to reinspire yourself in it?

I'm just working on the small ones right now, though. I'm terrified of the big ones, and I know I'll get inspired for one of them soon. Eventually. I just--right now I can't.

AUGH. The exchange. I tried doing that, and then I tried a few others, and I tried like a million bajillion ideas, and finally wound up with a thing with tattoos, and forgot a whole section. I am never doing a big nerve-wracking exchange like that one again. Only drabble and ficlet exchanges with friends because omg, the stressssss.

Also, it's v. good to do lots of writing away from comments. (I just wrote that sentence, now i can't remember what i was trying to say with it, or what i intended to do next...)

Just think, when you finish, I bet you'll started to finish one after another, and it'll be like having triplets or quadruplets or something. idk i'm going to shut up.

Oh, bb! /cuddles/ Whenever I get into a bind like that, I just listen to the stories. Whichever one wants to get written the most at one time, it'll push through. It's okay to work on more than one thing at a time. You shouldn't pressure yourself into finishing them -- it'll happen eventually. I know it's frustrating, but it's worth it in the end!

And I'm totally down with betaing! :D As soon as I finish one or two short bits that I need to get done.
