Boyf's best friend's wife pointed out helpfully (a week after we got the kitten) that Lawrence was, in fact, a girl and that the pound totally lied to us. We have renamed her Lily.

Haha, whoops.

Prior to this, I'd kept warning Lawrence that we'd have to rename him Florence if he didn't stop being such a crybaby. I feel a little silly now.

I'm having one of those weeks where I fall off the face of the internet and disappear. It's nothing against my f-list--I'm just bleargh over school and wanting to get out of the house since I have my car back.

I started replaying Final Fantasy IV because a.) I have a Final Fantasy obsession, b.) I have a DS fixation, and c.) because FFIV is my favorite in the whoooooole fucking series, though XII also holds a special place in my heart.

I finally caved and looked over my sn_e. Which was a mistake. I need to send in another draft! I haven't checked the comm in over 48 hours, so it may have already been posted, but I need to demand a newer draft! I'd been thinking I needed a new background for my desktop--not that there was anything wrong with the previous one, of course, 'cause god Ace was gorgeous in that image, but, well, I haven't been as deep into One Piece lately, and it was about time for a change, and obviously some stranger loves me.

I've been at my grandparents' house a few days. It was nice--they had real food and air conditioning. Of course, we have real food here, too, but it's not the same as Grandma's food.
