Sorry for those banned from pregnant, these are all locked. :(

I thought something felt familiar about this post. Didn't someone use that stupid "BD" phrase (you and your husband are going to have sex, it's okay, the secret is out) last week? Huh, same person ( Read more... )

I can understand being really excited and anxious about it but seeing all the posts together like that does make it seem pretty excessive.

I really don't understand planning out the days you'll have unprotected sex. She mentioned (in one, anyway) having 5 weeks left until the cycle they were aiming for. JFC just go have some sex when you want it. I didn't plan crap for either of mine, just stop using the birth control and go at it like rabbits.

What exactly does BD mean?

I've seen it and figured it was some kind of euphemism for sex/making lurve/doing the fan-dango/whatever.

Lord help people if they are too shy to say "my hubby and I are about to get jiggity with it in the hopes of having a baby" when they hit the actual end strides of their pregnancy and need to discuss things like cervical checks, STDs, sexual exclusions (damn previa :P) and so on...!

Bwahahahaa!

I thought that's what you did AFTER you had it and you shuffled from foot to foot with your offspring!

Gosh, the people who use that are in for a shock! What are they going to do when their babies start kicking them repeatedly in the cervix for fun - explain to the doc that they are a 'little bit sore down there, you know, where it's private'? :P

"Baby dance" is what you do when trying to move from one place to another after the baby drops. I am 39 weeks today and I discovered this over the weekend. ;-)

God, if she wasn't even trying to conceive yet and already making this many new posts to ask questions that she knows have already been answered recently, god knows what she'll be like when she's actually pregnant.

I think the BD acronym is the worst one ever. I totally agree, just say sex! If that's too embarrassing to say, how the hell are you going to get through child birth? Good grief7
