Hello!

Hello! I am so happy to be able to join this community... my husband and I had been ttc for over four years, gone through several fertility treatments and went through our own personal hell. We took a break and got the best surprise ever-- I found out last month that I'm pregnant. I couldn't be happier, naturally! I'm somewhere around 6 weeks right ( Read more... )

My mom had horrible endometriosis when she was younger, but she said the pain went away completely while she was pregnant with me and my brother. I don't think there were any particular complications she was told to watch out for, so I wouldn't worry. :)

As for constipation, I have a full glass of apple juice every single morning on as empty a stomach as I can manage. It seems to help me!

I don't know specifics when it comes to HCG, but I know it's supposed to double-ish every 48 hours or so. Your numbers look awesome!

I love apple juice.. have some simply apple in the fridge right now. I'll def try that!

I did calculate the HCG levels before my second blood test-- my doc wanted to see just over 1,000 to rule out ectocpic (I'm at risk for that with my endo) and by my calculations if it was doubling every 48 hours it would have been around 1600... so, it was obviously much higher! I'm sure my doc will explain it all to me next time I see her :)

Congratulations! Four years TTC is definitely a long road. I am so thrilled for you and your husband. And WOW, that's a big spike in HCG!

Very best of luck to you. Can't wait to hear more!

Hey, I recognize you from the endo community!! yay! yay! yay!! Welcome!!! I am so happy for you and your husband!!

Everyone is different, but I had endo pain for the first few months of my pregnancy and then it went away by about month 5..And then, I had absolutely no pain the whole time I was breastfeeding after the baby was born, most likely because I wasn't ovulating or getting my period.

As far as the constipation, I don't really have any advice because I had the opposite problem..Terrible diarrhea..ugh. Anyway, congratulations and definitely keep us posted. Hooray!

Yep, tis me! I love cross-community friends, it's always so cool!

Thanks for sharing with me. It's worth it to have this baby, even if I find no respite from the endo (but i think I will... I had a very successful surgery less than a year ago so I can't have too much in there).

I look forward to sharing not only my pregnancy, but to hear about others... I especially get excited when I see endo girls succeed because I know how awful it is to ttc. Some of us get lucky and get pregnant easily, while others like myself take years and years.

What worked for me in the constipation department was taking benefiber pills and a stool softener to help when I pooped. Congrats on the pregnancy!!

Do you eat a lot of whole grains and drink a lot of water?

My HCG was really high early on too. It wasn't twins (at least, by the 20 week ultrasound it wasn't) but it was a viable pregnancy. So it could be a good sign!

I am curious to see if it may be twins. My symptoms seem to be a bit exaggerated (like the exhaustion... no amount of sleep gives me enough energy to really function) but then again I have no basis for comparison. I guess i'll find out soon enough! I think I'd freak out a little bit if that were the case, but be happy too because I was at the point thinking I'd never get pregnant ever. I have ovulated more than one egg at a time in the past without fertility drugs, though I think fertility drugs may have set that off.
Anyway God wants to see me through this will be great. All I want is a healthy, happy lil baby, and I can feel like my life is fulfilled :)

I drink tooooooooons of water, but still when i go it feels dehydrated. I just bought myself a new 32oz water bottle. My nalgene wore out but I found a 32oz Camelbak bite-valve which makes drinking water fun :)
