For those of you who have dopplers at home..This may be a stupid question, but how do you know it is your baby's heart beat and not yours? I have never used or seen one before, but am thinking about getting one!

Mine is always in the 80s and baby boy's is always in the 140s :) He does like to hide out near an artery of mine, though, so for the longest time I just heard myself. It was easier when I started hearing his movement because i could focus in on him much easier.

you'll know. It is harder to tell the difference between fetal heart and umbilical cord blood flow though.
