I got back from Texas yesterday night, and it was quite a trip.  I hadn't had Christmas in Texas in 20 years, from what I can remember.  My little sister was just a baby, and it was the last time we saw my great-grandmother alive.  I don't remember much about it, but even that was nothing like this year's Christmas.

My sister's finch loves the Christmas tree.  It's funny because her female finch we had the past couple of years would be scared of it then kinda warm up to it after a while.  This one, though, went right into it the first day, and he built a nest in it.  He mostly likes ribbons as his material, so it looks a like a big, colored tangle.  This ( Read more... )

At least, not for me it isn't.  I'm rather certain I got an A in my Brit Lit class thanks especially to all the extra credit I got on so many of the weakly assignments.  Some of the assignments at the latter end weren't all that great, but they were fine, and they didn't hurt my over-all grade.  I'm glad I took the course because it helped me with ( Read more... )
