Moving on Down
Last night was the official "move." We had help with carrying the big things and got the living room and bedroom largely set up. Things are still a mess, and there's still stuff in the upstairs apartment to move down, but we slept over last night. That was weird. I feel unsettled. cleaning products
I've spent the last few days buying a ridiculous amount of Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products. Amazon is having a sale on them, but in bulk (25% off if you "subscribe and save" and it costs the same or less than regular cleaning products). I'm not even kidding that I cleaned my word desk with their toilet bowl cleaner because it's the only cleaner ( Read more... ) -
Sadness and Exhaustion
Today has been an awful day. Just really really exhausting and awful. Daily News reporters wanting to know what movies the kids watched before they were killed. Seeing the blood and not wanting to look, but not being able to look away. Constantly being hounded by benefits about whether we want counseling. Reflecting on my New Year
I think I'm going on about two years of being generally content with my life. That happiness led to the idea of getting married, which has in turn led to more happiness. New Years Planning
We'll see what actually ends up happening tomorrow, but this might be more of a party than I first intended. It's been fun having Carla in the neighborhood, going over to her new apartment, hanging out and then just walking home. Making plans and meeting up at my house! X-mas
It was a good Christmas. Last night we went out to dinner, just the two of us, free from family obligation. And then came home and drank too much while we watched The Two Towers.
