[Fallen from Godric's graces. Eric does not like this description, nor does he like his rubber fangs and current compulsion related to fish sauce. The latter two points are mere discomforts in comparison, the Captain's attempt to demean him for doing as vampires are wont.

This post is the only one he has paid attention to since an unspoken exile to his room and it troubles him, going so far as prompting him to speak.]

Public opinion is a fickle thing. Two weeks from now, something else will have happened to cause problems amongst the people. What I did will stamp out gossip, and allow the whole of the incident to blow over sooner. It wasn't entirely noble, you know.
