The very last story on my Just In list is gone, and the story on the list before that is a very nice read. Thus I'm going to start up the link of the day with a story which may be a bit rough around the edges, but definitely a rather nice week.

It's time now to move onto Tropes Sue Week. I asked for a bit of help finding stories while I worked on

Wow, the summary alone sounds condescending and xenophobic.
Also, chanting is a class now?

I honestly think the writer should have been writing original fiction instead of trying to pass her series off as fanfiction, but...

... the whole condescension and xenophobia would have gotten her kicked from most publishers. She would need to find a publisher like the one which published the House of Night series.

P.S. From the rant received by one of the writer's fans, or the writer pretending to be one of their fans back in 2012 on the first one in the series I'm guessing the writer and her fans think this series is super popular, but the only one with over ten follows is the first book, and none of her stories get ten or more favorites past the third book. Certainly some of the stories are breaking fifty reviews, but reviews don't mean as much as the number of follows and favorites. Makes me glad they're now shown.
