Oh god that hair. that horrible horrible hair. I'm sorry suethor, but Tangled lied, having hair that long is a pain in the ass, not a wonderful gift. People step on hair that long, it gets stuck in things, and it hurts when you step on it. Not to mention, by that length it starts to get into really bad shape. At just waist length my hair was in terrible shape because it was so long and it just hung there. It didn't help that I always had to keep it in a braid, wearing it down was always a horrible idea. And the colours sound ugly together too

Maybe this suethor hasn't read the Bible or heard about its folklore. Maybe she learned about "angel facts" in a shoujo, which would explain some things...

Or maybe she knew all of this and just plain ignored it so her character was "prettier".

Agree with the hair thing. I have it boob-lenght and its a tricky thing to comb it, especially because it's too thin...but yet, I had short hair for a period and hated every minute of it, even if it was easier to deal with. Maybe this Sue is guiding herself by the same premise...and took it to extremes.

I think a good deal of the angels in shoujo are much more interesting then this character. And some aren't anywhere near as elobarate in looks.

Tangles gets away with it because she is Rapunzel. Only Rapunzel can kick butt with long hair. End of story. Oh! You forgot the headaches that come with long hair, and how hot it is.

I hate she's invisable simply because it's meant to make her seem not so special.

Is she actually invisible, or just very inconspicuous?
I can't really make a lot of sense of this sample.
And what is it with the "slim yet curved" bit? That doesn't really work unless you're a Barbie doll, and if they were life-sited there wouldn't even be enough room in them to store the vital organs.

She's just supposed to be inconspicuous because her good looks are only visable right now to herself and she frets over the day these good looks will become noticed.

Why can't angel OCs ever be based off the kind of angels that look like wheels with eyes and wings that are on fire (real description), or any other type of scary-ass mofo angel? Come on, suethers, gimme at least one.

Blarg, the shoujo-iest shoujo manga that ever shoujo-ed would have angels that are 1000Xs more butch than this sue.
