It's the month between Morrigan's birthday and Hermione's next birthday. So in August Morrigan would turn (for example) 16 while Hermione is still 16, and then there's six weeks where they're both 16 before Hermione turns 17 in September.

I'm aware of that. I was wondering why they only pretend to be twins during that month, as the reason for pretending is because they are so close in age and look like each other, something that wouldn't just occur in just that month.
