Since I was going to spend the night in the airport, I went to bed early Tuesday morning...woke up early afternoon...and found out that the site I had used wanted me to fax them a copy of my credit card statement by 15:00. I read this at 14:00. And I really was just not ( Read more... )

.............Fax? o_O

Hershey's is just vegetable oil with cocoa powder mixed in! I'm so sad Cadbury's are being taken over by Kraft. Dairy Milk might not be the greatest ever according to some people but sometimes it's just what you want! >: Giant buttons are the best thing EVER, I don't care what anyone says!

Yeah, fax o_O I tried to ring customer service to ask whether I could e-mail a copy of my statement (who even gets their statements in the post these days??), but uh, I couldn't connect...yeah...-_-

Hershey's is really nasty D: Wikipedia tells me that they make it with a certain amount of an acid that isn't present in European chocolates...D: And oh noes D: That sucks :(((((

Ice cream? What. Sigh. That's what I get for only ever using Ryanair or whatever when I'm in Europe.

Ah, Alfred. Hetalia has actually made me a lot more patriotic. And there are things to love about my country. We do have the Rockies and the Grand Canyon and Elvis and Barack Obama. \I think the Hetalia version of the US is pretty accurate, actually. Misguidedly well-intentioned. (Although, Texas. WHY DO YOU HATE THOMAS JEFFERSONNNN ;_;)

Totally agree with you about China, btw.

Looking forward to more Scotland pix! :D

I've never flown Ryanair...:P But at least European airlines will even provide a little snack/breakfast for like one-hour flights. :33333 US airlines are so cheap ;_ ( ... )

It's fine, seriously. Before the twentieth would be ideal, but it's fine if not. Honestly, I'm gobsmacked you're even doing this for me at all, so.

Texas is trying to erase Jefferson from the schoolbooks! Because he was a deist, and came up with separation of church and state. WHYYYY.

I'm glad I agree with you about China! It's kind of strange how hetalia!China differs from Chinese fandom China. I wonder if the Japanese see China as cute and innocent, what? I don't see him as precisely lovable- more awe-inspiring. Four thousand years old, wow.

And yes, I'm always worrying that I'm getting things wrong! It's terrifying, in this fandom, because it's not just being OOC, it's being culturally oblivious and aaah. Romania- I would love to see that, too. I've seen about one fic out there, where she's a very hot lady, and I kind of ship her with Hungary- but I have no idea if a Romanian would see it that way and I'd love to know.

Native-tans... personally I'd be too afraid to go there. But maybe somebody else could do it Right.

I come back from my trip to France on the 21st, so I can probably get it done around the 22nd or the 23rd. ;_; And dude, it's my pleasure! I'm always up for reading well-researched Hetalia fic! :D I'm just sorry you've been waiting forever D: Especially since I'm sure you want to post it and all ( ... )

Is the printer behaving for you?

(Maybe on the flight back to the UK you can pin a note to yourself that notifies the flight attendants that you wish to be woken up for food...;)

Yes, the printer is behaving! Though I should probably go back and actually use the installation CD XDDDDD

And haha, I might consider doing that! ;)

Working in Japan has helped me appreciate America a lot more, but I still won't say it's perfect and that's the best place for me. Just, surprisingly, a better place for me to be than in Japan.

Yes, Hershey's is awful. I do miss American candies, though... T_T

I'm...kind of surprised that you are surprised? XD Why did you think Japan would be a better place for you? :o

Awww, what sorts of candies? :3

Oh, I posted your letter on Saturday! I'm posting it from the US, so it might get there marginally faster! :o

Well, okay, not surprised about America being better for me, just... I guess the margin of how much better? Like, I knew Japan was going to be restrictive, but this is waaay more than I was prepared to handle.

Um, like, I actually started to gain a fondness for nuts/peanut butter in chocolate recently, and they really don't do that here. (Reese's peanut butter cups have a dark chocolate version now, and it is soooo good!) Also, all the fruit-flavored gummy-type candies, like peach rings, swedish fish, that sort of thing. (Oh God I'm getting hungry...) I'm sure there's more, but those are the things that came to mind first.

I will miss Japanese-style sweets like dango, mochi and manju, though. They're delicous and you can eat a lot of them without feeling like you're eating too much sugar...

Yay letters!! <333
