Since I was going to spend the night in the airport, I went to bed early Tuesday morning...woke up early afternoon...and found out that the site I had used wanted me to fax them a copy of my credit card statement by 15:00. I read this at 14:00. And I really was just not ( Read more... )

Too bad you aren't coming up around oregon. there's a whole bunch of little niche restaurants and types of candies and cheeses and drinks and local beers and wines that they only make around here. We also have one of the best fast food restaurants around.

Rereading what I just typed reminds me why I'm fat...Mostly because I work at said fast food restaurant...

And I prefer dark chocolate. But everyone around here just eats hersheys...is there a better kind?

I've heard extremely good things about Oregon! Perhaps one day! :) And what fast food restaurant is this? XD

Mmm, I prefer dark chocolate as well. Godiva and Dove are both pretty good for US chocolate...I personally adore Lindt chocolates, though :3333

Burgerville (lol originality)

Best milkshakes. Awesome burgers. And things change with the seasons.

Oregon is awesome. And it doesn't rain as much as everyone makes it sound. Really.

Yeah, I wanna go too~!

Godiva has been my favorite ever since I was a kid. My mom always sends me little boxes of them for holidays. <3 Dove and Lindt are good too.

"It's just not for someone like me, is all"

Hmmm, meaning what? How do you judge if a country is "for" you or not?

Well...some people feel like they belong in certain countries a lot...though I don't really think one can particularly judge if one has lived in only one country for one's whole life. There's a lot about the US I didn't like while I was living there, and now that I'm living in the UK, I can concretely say what things about the US I dislike and why the US style of living really doesn't appeal to me. So in that sense, the US isn't 'for' me, in that it's not a place in which I would want to live (and not a place in which I am willing to deal with the things I dislike in order to live there). Hopefully that makes sense! :3

Hope you are doing well and that MFE is also doing well!
