I turn the big 20 tomarrow and it just seems like the older you get the fastest time goes. Chirstmas was a lot of fun this year, it was a little hard without having my grandfather there but I can honestly believe that he was there in spirit and I think it brought our family closer together which makes the holidays special.

My grandfathers funeral was yesturday and everything went really well. The whole family was there which was nice and so many people came. My grandfather passed away today. It was one of the hardest momemts in my life b/c I was in the room when he took his last breath. I was in the room with my grandmother and two of my aunts when it happened and I completely lost it. My grandmother and my mother had to take me out of the room. I feel it was my final release. Things right now for my family are tough. My grandfather was just sent home from the hospital just so he can be at home but he is unable to eat and b/c of his living will the family decided not to give him a feeding tube. I went to the doctors the other day and I counted 27 screws in my face and you can feel some of them too but the good news is my jaw is now fused back together for the most part and I don't have to depend on the screws to keep everything together. I am almost all healed now. I don't have anything holding my jaw shut anymore so I move from a liquid diet to a soft food diet which sounds great to me. I have been really cravin a cheese steak but that is going to have to wait. The swelling is pretty much gone and all the stitches just came out this weekend. So I was told by my doctor that I might not get the feeling back in my mouth for months which really sucks b/c I think that is what is bothering me the most. When everyone sees me they are amazed at how different I look. I don't notice that much of a change and I am still really swollen so it's hard to tell for me. So I spent 4 days in the hospital which let me tell u is pure hell. There is some nurse or doctor poking u with something every 5 minutes. The surgery took 7-8 hours and everything went okay I woke up with a tube up my nose down my throat and in my stomach and a tube somewhere else which I will spare u on.
