I went to a party last night with Julie, who was back in town for the weekend. It was the most insane thing I had ever seen. I woke up today and found a piece of popcorn stuck in my cell phone where the charger plugs in. In trying to fish it out with a comb, I managed to mangle and completely fuck up the phone, and now it won't charge at all. A day after my iPod stops being lost and it mysteriously stops working. I never needed one when I didn't have one, but now I'm experiencing withdrawl. Apple Tech Support better cover this.

Having a clean apartment puts you in such a good frame of mind. I can't acomplish the littlest of household chores. The dishes have remained unwashed for several weeks. I did nothing yesterday at all and yet I still didn't go to sleep till 5 in the morning and I didn't shower except right before bed. It's weird being alone in the apartment. Really alone. John hasn't slept here since we first moved in and he is never really here. I essentially live alone, but I never minded when Lucy was here. We put Lucy to sleep tonight. It's been a long day. I woke up early this morning and fed her her pills. I spoon fed her some dog food, but she could barely swallow any of it. I know many of you who have met my dog Lucy are not fond of her. You have good reason. But, she is very ill right now and after three different hospitals we finally got a diagnosis. Of sorts.
