I don't understand how people who were once such good friends and so close can suddenly just stop talking to each other. Or how when one tries to get in touch with the other, the other so obviously just completely ignores all the futile attempts like the friend is nothing to be concerned with anymore. I just got woken up before 8 in the morning by the the place I went to to get my car inspected saying I need two new front tires and front brakes in order to pass inspection, which will cost me about $563. When I called my dad I started crying because I just woke up and found out I'm going to have to borrow even more money from them in addition to ( Read more... ) -

I have so much work to do this semester, but, surprisingly, I'm not feeling overwhelmed or like I won't be able to keep up. Three of my classes have huge papers due (huge being relative, but they're major grades), and my art class is probably going to turn into something pretty time consuming. PLUS I'm doing my thesis. So far so good.
Well this semester has been a complete success thus far. I've only been to two classes (Anthropology of Religion and Religion and Politics in the US), but I think they're going to be really good. I also switched History of Jazz for Design Principles, which I'm completely excited about. I'm waiting to go to that class at 12:30 now, and hopefully it ( Read more... ) -

Okay. Granted, this was a couple of months ago, but last I heard Hillary Clinton said she would accept if Barack Obama asked her to be his running mate. SO WHY ISN'T SHE. I AM PISSED. BARACK, WHAT ARE YOU DOING. Someone please enlighten me if I've missed something crucial to this in the political world. Otherwise I will just be mad. -

Summer is over. Today was my last day of work. Jim took me out for sushi. It was pretty damn delicious. I did basically nothing (as usual) all day, and then he let me leave early. Summer is quickly coming to a close, and I could not be more ready. Actually, that is not true. I've enjoyed this summer quite more than I expected. However, these last couple of weeks I have absolutely nothing to do. Literally.
