I just found an uncashed check from July and I am making it official now: I promise to get on top of my life matters asap, no more of just barely floating atop.

wow, the news have been so depressing lately; it puts my problems into perspective (or just makes everything depressing).

But at least I had a fun day at the beach, climbing boulders.

I made a bagel sandwich so huge that I could not fit it in my mouth. It was sad.

My plan to start waking up by 9:30 completely backfired: it got me anxious and then I couldn't fall asleep until 4am, hence I woke up at noon.

Damnit, these personal statement are much worse than I thought they would be... I know what to say, but actually writing it down is a horrible experience. I can't seem to be good at writing coherent stuff... Annoying ( Read more... )

I have eaten an entire habanero pepper, and that was really painful (and waking up in the middle of the night because of a burning stomach ache wasn't pleasant either). But I got to find out a lot of hot house gossip because of being awake at 5:30!

is amazing. I just found the _best_ hat ever: a pink pig with wings. When you pull on the string, the wings flap. Silly accessories are awesome. I love the freepile!

Speaking of free stuff, apparently Cheeseboard (one of the best pizza places in Berkeley, in my opinion) gives away their pizzas for free upon closing (8pm-ish).

Still sick. wtf? And does pink eye last 2 weeks?

Anyways, I moved into my new room, but I still need to unpack.

Tree sap smells really good.

Bananas come from really far away.

I like being lost (but kind of knowing where to go to not be lost).

I climbed three trees since Tuesday. One for fun, one in order to rescue part of a kite, and one for a tea party.
Conclusion: trees are pretty awesome. You should climb one too!
