e-mail response I got from the status inquiry:
We have finished processing your passport, and it has been mailed to you.
You requested delivery by regular mail. Passport Agencies use Priority Mail. This means you should receive your passport on or about 06/01/2009.
and from USPS:
Your item was processed through and left our TUCSON, AZ 85726 facility on May 26, 2009. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.
Ahhh! I am kind of stressed. I am flying out on May 31st. I wonder if I could pick it up somewhere if it doesn't get to me soon enough...
